Tri-Town Vintage Base Ball Game

FreeRoot, root, root for your home team at this wildly popular fall classic, the Annual Tri-Town Vintage Base Ball Game, is held on Sunday, September 22 at 2pm, on Devitt Field, 245 South Main Street, Deep River. The area’s best ‘hurlers and strikers’ play by 1857 rules. Three six-inning vintage base ball games will be played round-robin by the the towns of Chester, Deep River and Essex. Sponsored by those towns’ historical societies. Attending this very family-friendly event is free. Please bring a lawn chair or blanket. Snacks, beverages and “ball park fare” are available for purchase at the concession stand. Games broadcast live by iCRV internet radio.
