We are currently looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, and friendly individual to join our team as a Front Desk Associate. The successful candidate will be answering incoming calls and checking in patients as they arrive for their appointments, and checking out as the leave. Other responsibilities include gathering confidential documents, faxing, checking insurance eligiblity/authorizations and assisting with administrative duties when necessary. Applicants should possess excellent communication skills, a high level of professionalism and the ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Providing exceptional patient care.
• Answer phones, take messages, and direct calls.
• Communication skills. Being able to answer patient questions and concerns.
• Collections: co-pays, balances on accounts, down payments and etc.
• Good listener & able to problem solve/resolve conflict.
• Be a good team player and working well with staff and providers.
• Attention to details/accuracy.
• Follow all HIPAA compliance regulations/laws.
• Computer skills and data entry with accuracy.
• Learn and operate electronic medical records (Greenway Prime).
• Time management and keeping the clinical schedule on task.
• Must be punctual & have good work ethics.

Past experience in the medical office setting is desirable, but not necessary.

This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent.
