Summary

Creates and trains operations/production associates in the proper and safe method to handle product, operate equipment, and exhibit desired behaviors for productivity and success. Manages “Mentors” who assist in onboarding and retention activities. Primary focus is on hourly associates but routinely facilitates learning experiences for line leads and supervisors. May contribute to leadership development curriculum and participate as needed.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Manages hourly “Mentors” who assist in onboarding, training, engagement and retention activities.
• Directs the needs assessment for production associate development to enhance the effectiveness of performance and desired behaviors in achieving the established goals and objectives of Perdue.
• Develops, coordinates, and implements assigned location’s production associate training plans, processes, and activities and when necessary, collaborates with other internal training resources to ensure local training needs are met.
• Conducts follow-up studies of all completed training/development programs to track, monitor evaluate and measure results; modifies programs as appropriate and provides additional support/resources to reinforce performance and behavioral expectations
• Provides a broad range of consultative development and diagnostic services to all levels of associates that improve productivity, leadership, personal effectiveness, associate retention and other key areas of focus.

Minimum Education and Education

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in one or more of the following: Human Resources, Organizational Development, Training & Development or relevant field. Minimum of 3 Years’ experience in on-ground, hands-on Training with advanced facilitation/presentation skills and understanding of adult learning principles. Must have experience with curriculum creation and managing others. Other requirements include: Strong proficiency in verbal/written communications, excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, change management, multi-tasking, problem-solving, coaching/mentoring and time management skills.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
