Construction Laborer Duties

Preparing construction sites, materials, and tools.
Loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment.
Removing debris and garbage from job sites daily.
Assembling pool walls, covers and equipment pads.
Using saws, drills, and common power tools.
Placing tools and equipment back in its proper place when finished.
Assisting with pool base set up and unload.
Mixing, troweling, and finishing pool base.
Pulling and parking a trailer.
Finding leaks with diagnostic tools and repairing them.
Filling out the work orders legible and understandable as to each task.
Having vehicle loaded and set for the day.
Cleanliness of work vehicle, oil changes, and tire rotations.
Generally assisting with anything involved in the construction process.
Following all health and safety protocols.

To Do Well in This Position, You Must

Be physically capable of performing manual labor while standing, squatting, bending over and frequent use of hands and arms. Able to bend over for long periods of time.

Enjoy working outdoors in different temperatures – hot and cold!

Perform high quality work with minimal supervision and able to follow our step-by-step processes with precision every time.

Be flexible and able to adapt quickly.

Be confident in speaking with customers and team members.

Requirements:

• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and comply with our drug and alcohol policy
• Pass a pre-employment background check
• Current and active driver license (and ability to maintain it) with minimal citations in past 3-5 years
• Able to read and write
• Physically able to perform manual labor.
• Able to lift 100 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Job description:

Must be able to lift 75 lbs

Must be able to walk all day to multiple locations throughout the day

Maintaining and repairing pool equipment

Balancing pH and chlorine levels

Maintaining and repairing pool equipment

Installing equipment such as filters, pumps, chlorinators and heaters

Testing equipment for effectiveness and safety

Completing paperwork and reporting service requirements to management

Educating pool owners about proper maintenance and safety procedures

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent

Must be 21 years of age

Have a clean driving record

Pass a drug test

Pass a physical

Professional appearance

Helpful but not required:

Knowledge of proper pool cleaning and maintenance methods

Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, concrete and equipment repairs
