Job: Solar Sales Consultant

Compensation: $30,000 per year plus 5% sales commissions

Prost Builders, Inc., a large commercial general contractor, in association with Missouri Solar Applications, LLC are growing and need experienced, self-motivated, successful outside sale consultants to sell solar electric systems to commercial, residential, educational, ecclesiastical and governmental prospects.

This Position:

We’re seeking experienced, self-motivated outside salespeople with proven sales skills who are passionate about selling solar electric systems remotely. We offer:

This Position’s Requirements

• Valid Missouri driver’s license
• No criminal history
• Minimum of 5 years’ successful outside sales experience calling on prospects at their place of business or home
• Previous experience in energy-efficient lighting sales preferred but not required
• Excellent sales skills such as consultative selling, prospecting, qualifying, presenting, negotiating and closing
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Excellent at relationship-building, follow up and customer service
• Self-motivated and driven to succeed and meet or exceed sales quotas
• Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m work hours with occasional nights and weekends to meet prospects

Our Location

Our main office is in Jefferson City, MO. We serve client projects all over the Central Missouri area.
