Spearhead Global Security, Inc. has a full-time Unarmed Security Supervisor position available for night shifts in Banner Elk, NC.

Security Officer Duties:

• Manage a job site with 5-6 security officers
• Ensure company and client policies and procedures are followed
• Detect and prevent illegal & unauthorized intrusion, entry, larceny, vandalism, abuse, fire, or trespass within client premises.
• Prevent, observe, or detect any unauthorized activity within client premises.
• Protection of patrons and persons lawfully authorized to be on the client premises.
• Control, regulate, or direct the flow or movement of the public to assure the protection of properties within the client premises.
• Assist personnel as needed.
• Observe and report incidents to management or the local authorities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have at least 1 years of experience as a Security Officer Supervisor
• Must have at least three years as a Security Officer
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Have no felony convictions (includes guilty pleas)
• Have no arrests, charges, or convictions for alcohol related offenses
• Have no arrests, charges, or convictions for drug related offenses
• Have no arrests, charges, or convictions for theft related offenses
• Complete a state required criminal background check
• Must have completed or be willing to complete the NC Basic Security Officer Training Course (a state requirement to work as a security officer)
• Must have a reliable means of communication on and off duty (cell phone) and be willing to download communication Apps required for each job site.
• Must have a reliable means of transportation
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States
• Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English
• Be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing
• Be able to think quickly and critically
• Be mindful of customer and public service
• Exercise good judgment in potentially dangerous situations
• Have knowledge of public safety and security
• Work well independently and with others

Desired Qualifications:

• Previous security, law enforcement or, military experience verifiable through previous employers is preferred
• Have completed the NC-PPS Basic Security Officer Training Course (16 hours) within the last year or be currently registered - Unarmed Positions
