Summary The main function of the Sales Associate position is to perform, at the direction of the Store Manager, a wide variety of tasks that are essential in the day to day operation of our stores.

This position is extremely important as the Sales Associate is the first contact with our customers and who represent the Beacon and Bridge organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsible for always greeting customers in a friendly and courteous manner.

Responsible for greeting all customers at the pump via intercom.

Responsible for maintaining accurate cash, credit, and other monetary transactions per company policy

Must be able to perform and complete all shift duties.

Maintain stocks on all shelves and coolers.

Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard free environment inside and outside the store

Be able to answer phone in a courteous manner

Understand and follow all Tobacco/Alcohol and Lottery laws and company policies related to those laws

Fully understand the company policies and procedures and adhere to them on a daily basis

Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds

Must be able to perform some physical work – climbing ladders and stools, medium to heavy lifting, gas price changes, and standing for extended periods of time

Be able to count back change

Any other duties assigned by the Assistant Manager or Manager

Pay: $11.00 per hour
