A role you will love

The Risk Analyst - Intern reports to the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer Global Issuer Services/Head of Risk and Compliance US and assists the US and Issuer Services Risk Team in providing independent oversight to the business in identifying and managing their risks in accordance with the Board approved Enterprise Risk Framework.

Primary Accountabilities

  • At the direction of and in support of US and Issuer Services Risk Team management, provides independent second-line risk coverage for the global Issuer Services business line and the US entities (excluding Computershare Loan Services and Computershare Corporate Trust), acting as a constructive and where appropriate challenging partner to the business.
  • Supports US and Issuer Services Risk Team management in overseeing the business in the execution of their risk management responsibilities, as set out in the Computershare Enterprise Risk Framework (including but not limited to Loss Events, Process Risk and Control Self-Assessment, Top Risk, Risk Appetite, and Risk Metrics).
  • Escalates issues as appropriate.

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance (interest in Risk Management preferred)

  • Positive attitude, go-getter
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
