Project Manager Assistant - $3,000 Sign-on Bonus

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager Assistant to help manage all our projects and tasks. The Project Manager Assistant will ensure that the plans and timelines are followed through. You will assist in submitting project documents to ensure materials are ordered on time to meet project schedules. You should have great communication skills and a positive attitude. In this role, you will act as first contact for our internal staff as well as project managers and will be required to help maintain and coordinate contracted projects.

We furnish and install many specialty items such as expansion joints, operable partitions, sunshades, skylights, toilet partitions & accessories, metal lockers and much more.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrates intermediate to advanced proficiency in the use of computers and computer software, especially MS Word, Excel, Procore and Monday Work Management Software.
• Must have experience navigating and understanding commercial plans and specifications with 1-2 years of experience.
• Advance knowledge with construction document reading through Blue Beam.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize responsibilities with limited supervision.
• Experience with project scheduling and material coordination.
• Construction Management degree, a must-have.
• High School diploma, or GED (General Education), plus three (3) to five (5) years of experience working in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Manager with clerical responsibilities for submitting bids for projects, processing paperwork for ongoing projects and ensuring that all required approvals for projects have been obtained in a timely fashion.
• Maintain project logs for submittals, requests for clarification, requests for information, change orders, and prepare all necessary information relating to change documents such as PR’s, ASI’s and RFI’s under the direction of the Project Manager.
• Review the Specifications thoroughly for compliance prior to submission, to ensure submitted products are approved for order.
• This position directs assigned projects with adherence to planning, execution, monitoring, and closing within standard project management methodology.
• Review and correct outgoing correspondence by direct comparison with source documents prepared by project personnel.
• Assist in navigating the Bluebeam Live Drawings to find the specific drawing, detail, schedule, specifications needed.
• Weekly coordination meetings with Project Team to keep them informed about important deadlines, when materials need to be on site, project completion status, and support the overall project goals.
• Deliver samples to jobsites, and run errands as needed. Mileage is compensated.
