VIVA Pediatrics is seeking dedicated Occupational Therapists to join the VIVA Pediatrics team as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist – if you are an experienced & licensed OT looking to maintain a healthy work / life balance & would like to help us make a difference in a child’s life, come join our team!

Compensation:
$65,000 - $95,000
Includes Base salary + Competitive Per Visit Rates!

Responsibilities:

• Evaluates and treats children with fine motor delays, decreased arm/hand strength, difficulties with bilateral and eye-hand coordination, self-care skills, sensory processing skills, as well as assessment of adaptive equipment needs
• Documents, prepares and completes a Plan of Care, progress notes, orders and other clinical documentation to support and justify service delivery
• Provides effective communication and collaboration with patient/family, team members, leadership, and other health care professionals
• Accepts clinical assignments that are consistent with education and competence to care for patients
• Applies concepts of infection control and universal precautions in coordinating/performing patient care activities
• Meets mandatory continuing education requirements of the agency/licensing board
• Promotes Agency mission and administrative policies

Qualifications:

• Skilled OT with at least 1-year recent Pediatric experience in home health, acute care, or out-patient setting
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Occupational Therapy or related discipline
• Current Texas State License as a Occupational Therapist
• Current CPR certification

Other Requirements:

• Ability to see patients in various locations around North Austin or DFW, including but not limited to: Dallas, Ft Worth, Richardson, Plano, Garland, Mesquite, McKinney, Frisco
• Team Oriented
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
