SUMMARY:

• $2,500.00 sign on bonus.
• $1300.00 weekly guarantee is paid for Solo OTR transport.
• OTR trips over 200 miles round trip will be compensated at and additional $0.32 per mile.
  
• The Class A Truck Driver will transport flour/grain/materials between Hereford, TX, Pritchett, CO, Dawn, the surrounding areas for Panhandle Milling and OTR. This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a Class A commercial motor vehicle and requires compliance with DOT and safety regulations.

Salary:

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines.
• Open to shifts, some evenings, weekends, and an average work week of 40-54 hours.
• Transport flour/grain/materials within a 3-hour radius of Dawn, TX, averaging 4-6 loads per day, with some further travel as needed.
• Occasional overnights may occur.
• Assist in delivery of missed loads, moving trailers around the yard, and operation of feed loaders.
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load/Unload freight or assist in the loading/unloading of freight, if required.
• Other tasks as assigned.

• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle (Grain Hopper, Dry Van, or Bulk Pneumatic preferred):
• 12 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions in English.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures.

• Cranking of handles.
