We are currently seeking a Business Insights & Data Analyst to analyze, report on, and create customer facing presentations for Cedar’s Foods Hommus, Dairy Dips along with our PL partner business and Brekki Overnight Oats. The position will be responsible for uncovering insights thru data analysis via multiple data sources including syndicated data (Nielsen), retailer proprietary data, 3rd party trends and insights (Mintel) & Internal shipment data, to assist in promo effectiveness and the development of strategies that enable our companies to win in the marketplace. This position will add value cross-functionally with product development, supply chain & marketing.

Responsibilities:

• Develop/understand 4P best practices and leverage knowledge to inform insights synthesis & strategy development.
• Help develop Channel Strategy for optimal product assortment and placement utilizing store shelf space more effectively, satisfying consumer needs
• Utilize learnings from Pricing and Promotion analysis to assist the development of efficient and effective pricing and promotion strategies
• Provide analysis of competitive promotion plans/activity and recommend defensive promotional strategies where needed
• Syndicated & Internal Shipment Data: Develop & maintain automated reporting, database management, providing analysis and drawing out insights
• Broker Reporting: Manage the broker scorecard process.
• Category Reviews / Retailer Presentations: Develop Templates, population of Presentations, develop insights, make recommendations
• Provide sales team with analytical information (national, region, retailer, and competitor)

Education & Experience

• Four-year college degree
• Expertise in 3rd party syndicated data analysis - i.e. Nielsen or IRI (> 3 years’ experience)
• Experience effectively working within a Sales team as an influencer
• Advanced user of Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Skills / Knowledge

• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with attention to details.
• Ability to present analytical findings in a clear, concise manner.
• Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
• Gathers and analyzes data information in a skillful manner
• Strong experience with Nielsen/IRI data and analysis or similar data base
• Uses intuition and experience to complement data
• Establishes and maintains effective relationships
• Ability to lead projects and facilitate end to end processes, meetings, protocols
• Abel to prioritize and pivot quickly as immediate needs change.
• Ability to conduct self professionally.
• High regard for data integrity and proper maintenance of systems.
• Working knowledge of retail channels including: Grocery, Club, Mass and discount
• Strong oral, written communication and presentation skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
