Chief Human Resource Officer - YMCA of Cape Cod
The CHRO is responsible for developing and executing HR strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, in the areas of succession planning, talent management, talent acquisition, change management, diversity and inclusion, organizational and performance management, training and development, employment practices, procedures, and policies, total rewards, compliance, and employee communications. The CHRO provides strategic leadership by articulating HR needs and plans to the senior team, the Board, and the HR Committee.
Reporting to the CEO, you will partner with leaders to ensure fair, equitable and inclusive treatment of their Team Members. You will manage the entire employee lifecycle from sourcing and recruitment to onboarding, performance management, employee relations, policy development and adherence for the organization. You will also oversee the organization’s benefit programs and supervise a Payroll and Benefits Administrator.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources or equivalent; Master’s degree preferred. Ten or more years of professional experience in all aspects of human resources management and staff development and/or equivalent combination of education/experience. Experience in strategic planning and policy, talent acquisition & management, total rewards, training and development, employee relations, and performance management. Current knowledge and understanding of regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments, and applicable laws regarding human resources.
Certifications, Licensures, and Registrations: YMCA Organizational Leader certification preferred; Senior human resources (SPHR or SHRM-SCP) strongly preferred.
