We are currently seeking a hard-working and self-motivated GENERAL MANAGER - BAR for our DOWNTOWN STATE COLLEGE, PA locations.The successful candidate will be part of a team that is responsible for the overall operation of the location, while achieving company objectives in sales, quality, service, cleanliness and sanitation.They will also maintain a positive and productive working environment.A working food knowledge is a must.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares all required paperwork – including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner
• Responsible for Profit & Loss performance – including food, bar and labor costs
• Oversee and coordinate the planning, organizing, training and leadership necessary to achieve all company goals
• Knows and complies consistently with our standard recipes, quality standards and protocols
• Responsible for the quality of all products prepared
• Performs job to our high standards every day, and ask question when clarification is needed
• Demonstrates high ethical standards at all times
• Assumes 100% responsibility for the experience of our guests

Qualifications:

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must have at least one (1) year of restaurant management/leadership experience
• One (1) year of high-volume bartending experience a plus
• Must possess a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
• Must maintain a strong knowledge of Labor Laws, Health Codes, and Sanitation Policies and Procedures
• Must administer prompt corrective action for any violation of company policies, rules, and procedures in a fair and consistent manner
• Must be able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 55 pounds
• Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff are required to follow CDC recommendations and local masking ordnance. All sanitation practices required by the Health Department and recommendations from the CDC are followed.
