We are searching for a motivated, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Service Advisor to join our growing team and assist our busy Service Department.

This position requires the skill set of a strong coordinator who can provide process-driven results. Along with a high attention to detail, solid phone etiquette, and superb interpersonal skills, the Service Advisor will showcase great aptitude while performing the responsibilities listed below.

Automotive Service Advisor Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers in a timely and friendly manner.
  • Schedule appointments, service work and sell additional service to customers as needed.
  • Communicate with service customers to determine the nature of mechanical problems while obtaining customer and vehicle data.
  • Advise customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles. If additional work is needed, a Service Advisor will explain the details to the customer, including the additional cost and time considerations.
  • Contact customers by telephone regarding any changes in the estimate or time promised.
  • Handle telephone inquiries regarding work in process and appointments.
  • Maintain excellent Customer Experience Survey Ratings
  • Filing paperwork
  • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to work standards and practices
  • Other responsibilities as required Dealership Management

Requirements:

  • High School Education or GED
  • Reliable transportation to get to/from work
  • Must be proficient on computer, including typing ability
  • Excellent customer service skills, must be comfortable speaking on the phone
  • Strong communication skills (listening and speaking) with a friendly personality
  • A positive attitude with a growth mindset
  • Maintains a professional appearance
  • Common knowledge of vehicles
