Position Summary:
The Senior Relationship Banking Specialist is responsible for providing extraordinary customer service both internally and externally by taking a personal interest, developing relationships, and creating a positive experience with each customer. Provides assistance to each customer to determine their financial needs as well as handle day to day transactions. Ensures operational efficiency and quality standards are met demonstrating compliance with all State, Federal and other applicable bank regulations. In addition will perform select supervisory functions as needed.

  • Provides exceptional customer service building rapport and relationships.
  • Strives to guarantee customer satisfaction by engaging with customers to welcome them, personalize the experience and determine the best way to serve them.

  • Assists other team members so the bank is represented in a favorable light and actively contributes creative ideas for constant improvements.
  • Promotes the banks products and services.
  • Processes financial transactions, practices sound cash handling processes and answers inquiries and/or resolves simple to complex concerns on customer accounts.
  • Attends mandatory training and/or online assignments for regulatory compliance as scheduled.
  • Understands and observes all security and regulatory banking requirements to maintain compliance within State and Federal guidelines.
  • Answers questions on customers’ accounts.
  • Supervisory functions as needed for reviewing and approving transactions, as well as opening and closing the branch as needed. Also, will support Sr. Relationship Manager or Relationship Officer with employee relations needs.
  • Actively cross sells banks products and services, referring customers to other departments when appropriate.
  • Active participant in development and training of branch staff to be cross trained into Relationship Specialist roles, and maybe selected to participate in the Peer Audit or Retail Trainee teams.
  • Performs select supervisory functions as needed for reviewing and approving transactions, as well as opening and closing the branch as needed.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Three years of retail industry experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to supervise or lead a team in current or prior work experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
