Are you an entry level Human Resources professional seeking to expand your scope of knowledge and experience? Do enjoy a busy work environment with lots of responsibility? If you answered yes to all of these questions, Academy of Art University encourages you to apply for the full-time Human Resources Coordinator position. This is a hybrid role and will require approximately three days of onsite work at our downtown San Francisco office location. You will be able to work approximately two days from home.

In this role, the HR Coordinator will provide first level support for all incoming HR matters. Specific responsibilities include managing inquiries submitted by phone and email, executing digital new hire on-boarding and orientation, maintaining filing and records and conducting appropriate audits, responding to employment verification requests, supporting with general administration and facilitating departures for voluntary terminations.

Ideal candidates must possess at least three years of professional administrative experience and preferably within a compliance-driven industry. Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to manage time well and work successfully within deadlines. Customer service is a key element of this position and candidates must enjoy working with others on a daily basis and have a proven track record of delivering quality support. Candidates with experience within new hire on-boarding are highly desired.
