BBSI is excited to be recruiting a Planting Program Technician for the Tillamook Estuaries Partnership. TEP is expanding its crew for the Backyard Planting Program, which works on multiple private properties across Tillamook County to control invasive species and establish native trees and shrubs.

This seasonal position is ideal for an individual who enjoys working outdoors and is dedicated to preserving native plant species. Specific experience and skills needed include:

• Ability to operate weed eaters and hand tools, navigate rough terrain, and work in inclement weather.
• Knowledge of and ability to identify invasive and native plant species is preferable.
• Experience in landscape maintenance or planting trees and shrubs.
• Valid drivers' license, clean driving record and reliable transportation, and willingness to travel to project sites.

Planting Techs work in teams of 2-3, so collaboration and teamwork are key skills in this position. Individuals who are hardworking, and eager to be a part of solving environmental problems are encouraged to apply.
