Sr Product Manager, Emerging Products is a visionary, strategist, analyst, customer evangelist, respected leader of business and technology execution, and professional relationship builder all rolled into a single dynamic package. The Sr Product Manager will be responsible for identifying the intersection of customer problems/unmet needs (an opportunity), technical feasibility, business objectives and leading a cross-functional business and technical team, as well as key stakeholders to deliver against the opportunity.

The Sr Product Manager, Emerging Products will partner with the Advanced and Emerging Technologies team, leveraging deep customer empathy, strategic thinking, commercial, analytical, technical capability and knowledge, and leadership prowess to successfully deliver unique and differentiated products that drive growth and positively impact enterprise customers.

Job Responsibilities:

Leads design, proposal creations, integration, configuration, implementation, enablement and management of the technical solution of trial solution efforts across a portfolio of customers, locations, partners, and ISV’s

Scout, identify and/or create new business opportunities and partnerships: a) identify and analyze complex market/business opportunities, b) evaluate key players and technologies, c) assess customer and market opportunities, d) develop differentiated product/service strategies, and e) create potential economic/financial/business models

Partnering with global system integrators, RAN & core vendors, edge computing solution providers, ISV’s, and driving AI-based end-to-end wireless solutions

Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales-Operations, Sales, Product Management and Engineering to make accurate, informed decisions

Participate in various internal and external innovation programs, evaluating emerging technologies and formulate recommendations and lead reviews to cross-functional teams

Manage and evolve a roadmap of partnership technical activities based on a strong understanding of 5G ANS and IoT product management and customer needs

Conducts cost-benefit / ROI / NPV analysis, to support decision making.

Stay current with leading technology businesses and initiatives

Anticipates industry trends, direction, innovation, analyses potential impacts or opportunities to customer / product, and incorporates analyses into product process.

Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.

Education Required

Bachelor's Degree

Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent experience.

Experience Required

6+ years experience with a strong background in cellular networks or cloud computing and a deep understanding of Systems Integration

7+ years IT or telecommunications technology product management and/or technical sales experience and/or related SaaS/High Tech industry experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

Technology

  • Good knowledge of the latest developments in emerging technologies e.g. AI/ML, IoT, AR/VR, Edge computing

Product Management

  • Experience in delivering large and complex business/technology initiatives as Product Manager or lead technology role.

Communication

  • Proven ability to effectively and efficiently communicate with Leadership, while employing a high degree of collaboration and influence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences including executives and non-technical leaders.

Consultative Selling

  • Strong strategic Consultative Selling and Customer Relationship management experience focusing on Enterprise B2B and B2C partner segments

Business Analysis

  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to identify/analyze/synthesize product use data and use the data to drive decisions.

Integration

  • Knowledge and experience with integration patterns, API’s, and protocols such as REST, EDI, SOAP, etc.

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • T-Mobile requires all employees in this position to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, unless precluded from doing so by applicable law. Washington Pay Range: $154,300 - $208,800

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives.
