Position Summary
Wyoming Health Fairs has immediate needs for Traveling Phlebotomists/Representative based in Casper WY. Successful candidates must live in Casper or surrounding communities and be available to travel on a regular basis. This is a full-time position.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Provide excellent customer service to our participants
· Ensure all specimens are collected accurately according to established policies and procedures
· Communicate event logistics with onsite coordinators, volunteers and other staff; oversee successful implementation of all event details
· Responsible for accurate computer processing related to opening and closing of events i.e. reconciliation of receipts (cash, check, credit card)
· Must be available to travel and to drive with no restrictions. Travel does include driving on Wyoming’s wintery road conditions. Vehicles are provided by Wyoming Health Fairs.
· Ability to communicate in a professional manner
· Demonstrate problem solving skills through critical thinking and reasoning
· Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Must adhere to HIPAA and OSHA regulations
· Special duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge /Skills/ Ability)
· Previous experience with the vacutainer system and fingerstick collection is preferred
· Recent graduate of a phlebotomy program must have a minimum of 100+ sticks
· Phlebotomy certification is preferred but not required
· Must possess valid driver’s license
· All candidates are subject to a pre-employment background verification

Technology Skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products and all office equipment (laptop, printers, monitors, copiers, etc); must be able to navigate web-based programs identified as essential for job performance.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to participants and other employees of the organization.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Work independently in a fast-paced environment. The following physical demands includes sitting or standing for long periods of time, frequent lifting and carrying of up to 50 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions.
