Job Description :

NCCC is looking for a Payroll / HR Assistant to provide support to the Finance and HR Management Team and act as a point of contact for candidates, new hires and employees.

Successful candidates will demonstrate financial knowledge and experience with payroll processing. They would provide HR administrative support and have the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, outside clients and vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Process bi-weekly company payroll, which includes standard earnings, productivity incentives, mileage reimbursements and any additional off cycle checks needed.
  • Process and generate internal financial reporting as needed.
  • Oversee health savings account and 403B retirement plan.
  • Assist w/new hire onboarding including phone screens, interview coordination, and new hire paperwork
  • Assist with New Hire Orientation as needed
  • Assist w/maintaining employee file maintenance
  • Assist w/monthly, quarterly and annual reporting when needed
  • Assist with benefits administration
  • Performing office and administrative duties to assist management
  • Act as the point of contact for candidates, new hires, and employees
  • Create regular reports and update internal databases if needed (training will be provided)
  • Respond promptly to staff queries
  • Payroll and payroll related reporting if necessary (training will be provided)
  • Run background checks
  • Filing and retrieving corporate records, documents, and reports
  • Helping prepare for meetings
  • Accurately recording minutes from meetings
  • Provide general administrative support
  • Professional level verbal and written communications skills.

Requirements Knowledge of office procedures Experience with office management systems, MS Office

  • Familiarity with online calendars and cloud systems
  • Experience using office equipment, including printers and fax machines
  • Strong communication skills (via phone, email and in-person)
  • Experience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive company information
  • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritize work
  • Previous experience required
