Job Description :

Working within a small team structure and reporting to the Mining Division Manager, you will generate new leads, nurture existing customers and distributors, and identify new opportunities for product development. As a Vision X ambassador, you will represent the company on sales calls, meetings with distributors, and attend tradeshows and other events. You will work with marketing to develop sales assets to help achieve your sales goals. Your focus will be on growing and nurturing the Vision X mining business. This role is based on the east coast adn require travel to development the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate, develop, and maintain relationships with customer contacts in engineering, maintenance, and procurement
  • Initiate, develop, monitor, and grow sales opportunities through new and existing distributor partnerships
  • Become Vision X product brand ambassador with a full understanding of the mining- and heavy industry-focused product lines, their applications, and comps
  • Represent Vision X at trade shows and other events, promoting new and existing products and their applications
  • Collaborate internally with engineering, manufacturing, leadership, and management to ensure alignment on processes such as product development, manufacturing, quotes, shipping, returns, and warranties
  • Develop proposals/presentations and deliver them to potential customers/distributor partners
  • Identify potential value and priority of new opportunities and integrate them into the monthly sales forecast
  • Demonstrate a positive and professional demeanor when representing Vision X

Qualifications

  • B.S. in engineering or related technical discipline experience preferred
  • MSHA certification required, which can be obtained post hiring
  • Mining industry knowledge, including equipment types and compliance regulations, generally
  • Experience in balancing multiple task and project workloads
  • Skilled in Microsoft-based applications such as Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP system preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platform preferred
  • Exceptional communication and presenter skills

Work environment and physical demands

  • While performing duties of this job, it would often be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk, and hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Must occasionally lift and/ or move up to 50 pounds
  • Non-Standard work hours may be necessary as the workload dictates. This may include weekdays, evenings, and/ or weekends.
  • Job will generally be performed in an office environment but will require travel and visits to the client’s office, production facility, or industrial/ mining job sites. Conditions will vary at each location.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
