This position successfully guides marketing projects through the development process from concept to completion. This position promotes collaboration within the department, with internal clients, and with external vendors to ensure expectations of quality, budget, and schedule are maintained.Project Management Certification not required but a plus
Experience working Adobe Workfront, Jira, or Asana is also a plus
1. Develops and maintains an approved process work flow approach for marketing projects, including processes for working with external vendors, and enforcing those processes and procedures.
2. Manages workload of Marketingís creative staff, assigning projects to appropriate Marketing team members, and seeking approval from Manager of Branding and Advertising when outside resources are required.
3. Acts as the champion of, and expert in the on-line project management system, providing ongoing training and guidance for the rest of the team and clients who use the software to review and approve materials.
4. Augments on-line project management system with other necessary project management tools and/or software to manage project timelines and staff workload.
5. Determines, in cooperation with client and assigned marketing staff, scheduling, milestones, budget, and deadlines for marketing projects, and ensures all those elements are kept on track.
6. Coordinates weekly production update meetings with marketing staff to review project status and identify any issues preventing project movement and adding unexpected costs.
7. Facilitates collaboration by holding project kick-off meetings with specialists, designers and, where possible, the client to review creative briefs, discusses schedule, communicates job expectations, and ensures all parties understand the needs of the requestor.
8. Arranges, when possible and appropriate, presentation meetings for creative staff to present project concepts to clients.
9. Gathers cost estimates and arranges printing and other external production. Attends press checks to ensure quality. Investigates and evaluates new vendors on an ongoing basis.
10. Identifies project roadblocks before problems surface, recommends actions to remove them, and insulates creative teams from outside distractions.
11. Ensures marketing projects and assigned staff adhere to SelectHealth core principles of trust, accountability, and mutual respect.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelorís degree or four years applicable department operations or project management experience such as managing a medium sized or multiple scope projects. Degree must be obtained through an accredited institution, which will be verified.
Additional two years project related work experience.

Demonstrated intermediate level experience with computer system applications including spreadsheet, word processing, and database applications.
