Marketing Manager

Purpose: Oversee all aspects of marketing and outreach for the country’s only year-round, lift-served bike park. Activities will include but not be limited to community outreach, marketing efforts through organic and paid channels, creating and sharing content (both visual and written) within brand standards (both visual and written); tracking, analyzing, and reporting results; and pitching in wherever help is needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategy -

● Develop marketing plans and calendars that support measurable growth

● Lead intelligent, resourceful, and effective solutions that bring visitors to Spider Mountain Bike Park and Thunderbird Lodge

● Foster the growth of brand recognition within the marketplace

● Execute campaigns and communications across all channels, including newsletters, website, social media, and earned media

● Track, analyze, and report positive ROI while continually optimizing your efforts

● Maintain relationships with key business and community partners

Tactical Support -

● Support content-gathering efforts regularly with photos and videos

● Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on the website, social media, and other channels

● Provide budget stewardship

● Website management to include making regular updates, creating landing pages, doing ongoing SEO, and working with a third-party agency partner for troubleshooting and development

● Manage social media presence, including development, scheduling, and execution of fresh, relevant, and engaging content

● Respond to all social media comments/questions across all social media platforms.

● Partner with a third-party agency to fulfill print and digital media buying with a positive ROI

● Manage all facets of newsletter strategy

● Oversee public relations and sales

● Coordinate events and event promotion

● Act as a brand ambassador and customer service representative for Spider Mountain / Thunderbird Lodge.

● This position will create content across a variety of platforms, including email marketing (Mailchimp), website (WordPress and Google Analytics), social media (including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok), and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Hangouts). Experience with Creative Cloud applications, including but not limited to Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro (preferred).

Essential Functions:

● Physical mobility to efficiently complete tasks; lifting objects weighing 10 to 25 pounds; ability to sit for prolonged periods

● Ability to pay attention to detail and perform detailed operations

● Ability to effectively communicate in oral and written form

● Ability to work on an "on-call" basis, weekends, holidays, and various shifts

● Ability to keep private information confidential

● Ability to work in a traditional office environment (typing, phone usage, filing, standard office equipment, etc.)

● Ability to maintain scheduled work commitments and meet daily deadlines

Position Type and Expected Work Hours

● Full-time, year-round salaried position

● Need to have flexible working hours and working holidays based on business levels.

Education / Training / License(s) / Certification(s) Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, public relations, closely related field, or equivalent work experience.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
