JOB SUMMARY

Plan and create visual solutions in support of marketing strategies and communications initiatives, finding the most effective way to communicate cross-media, print & electronic, utilizing a variety of methods such as color, type, illustration, newsletters, and other publications. Produce marketing materials including flyers, brochures, posters, postcards, ads, as well as packaging and logos, material for web pages, interactive media and multimedia projects. Requires the ability to self-start and manage projects on time through to completion. A high degree of creativity and innovation is expected.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Provide creative ideas, samples, client mock-ups and final designs on assignments.
• Responsible for design and development of print materials for marketing and event promotions including brochures, flyers, posters, ads, stationery, and calendars as well as design for online & email communications.
• Work with vendors and other organizations to complete projects and goals
• Work closely with Sales Executive.
• Coordinate project dependencies with REALTORS, lenders, photographers, and printers.
• Responsible for proofing, consistency of coding, logo, and high quality of work produced for Security Title Agency.
• Layout and design for in-house clients: events and development departments: print and web ads, product concept and development, eblasts, flyers, etc.
• Print mailings (letters, postcards, etc.) including mail merges
• Design product packaging (book covers, media covers, etc.)
• Research information for projects (using internet and printed material)
• Schedule, plan, estimate cost, request quotes and subsequent approval for printing, cutting, binding and all phases of production.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree with graphic design major or minor preferred, combination of Associate’s degree or certificate and/or academic credit in graphic design classes and 1 year of relevant work experience is acceptable.
• Two or more years of professional experience working in the field of graphic design/communication arts and/or marketing preferably in a real estate Related field.
• Knowledge of requirements and experience working with traditional four-color printing and digital design
• Strong emphasis on original design, as well as the ability to conceptualize and utilize existing template and stock art media
• Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Proficient in web production applications a plus
• Able to keep on schedule and multi-task in a busy, production-intensive environment
• Photo-retouching
• Knowledge of the printing process, paper types, bindery processes
• Knowledge and comfort in ordering materials or printing online, via phone or email
• Copywriting/editing/proofreading skills preferred, but not required
