Job Summary

The Manager, Product and Solution Marketing leads a team responsible for developing and maintaining a Go To Market strategy and framework for product and program launches in the Employer Solutions division along with development of strategic marketing plans and execution. The Manager is also responsible for driving the organization and optimization of ongoing marketing deliverables classified as maintaining the business. Manager works independently as well as in conjunction with Director to influence and work collaboratively with sales, marketing and product teams as well as vendor partners in relation to Product Marketing. Essential Functions

Go-to-market and product marketing growth:

  • Responsible for developing and maintaining a repeatable GTM framework and process for the employer solutions division, with input from key stakeholders such as Market Intelligence, New business and Retention sales, and Product (innovation, management, and delivery)
  • Understands and applies go-to-market and product marketing best practices and provides leadership to the team and organization with this expertise
  • Holds self and others accountable for understanding competitive dynamics, pricing strategies and differentiated market positioning as well as marketing to help drive profitable growth in the employer market
  • Leads positioning and key messaging for products and features that meet business objectives, and the intersection of the Priority Health commercial group value proposition
  • Ensures strategic, measurable product marketing support with targeted campaigns and sales materials
  • Drives connection and collaboration across the organization to ensure go-to-market effectiveness
  • Partners closely with Product Innovation and Management teams to understand product and program features within the Priority Health portfolio and value to the target audience.
  • Supports sales training with coordinated sales strategies and marketing campaign and materials support
  • Ensures team is documenting and developing artifacts for process improvement

Maintaining the Business:

  • Identify scope and priorities for focus of team on work categorized as “maintaining the business”, driving effectiveness
  • Works closely with marketing specialists to deliver efficient, on-brand, and customer-relevant communications and materials
  • Influences new ways of working, organizing, and impacting the business
  • Influences cross-functional teams without formal authority

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree (Marketing or Business preferred)
  • 7 years of relevant experience in marketing or communications
  • 3 years of relevant demonstrated experience in the development, design and execution of business to consumer marketing strategies.
  • 3 years of relevant experience in the ability to identify opportunities and streamline processes; continuous improvement.

Preferred

  • Master's Degree
  • 7 years of relevant product marketing experience
  • 5 years of relevant supervisory/leadership experience
