Description
MAHUBE-OTWA is actively recruiting a Family Development Director. Seeking a passionate individual with leadership skills to directs and oversee service integration for assigned programs with a trauma-informed approach and a commitment to equity that builds our communities and contributes to our mission while eradicating poverty. Delivers a Whole Family – Whole Agency – Whole Community Approach alongside MAHUBE-OTWA’s Early Childhood and Energy departments and through partnership development with public and private service entities across our five-county region. Through visionary leadership, fosters effective and collaborative relationships while overseeing complex systems and continuously improving processes, services, systems, and opportunities.
Align strategies to our Agency Values of client-focused, community-minded, and resourceful, along with compliance of the Employee Standards of Conduct & Behavioral Expectations, and the Community Action Code of Ethics. Embrace, advocate, and carry out the MAHUBE-OTWA mission. Stays in touch with Agency programs and community issues impacting low-income people.
Must have the ability to recognize and maintain confidentiality of client and agency information and
work materials. Follow established professional, ethical, and legal standards including being a mandated reporter.
Pay: $33.25-$36.28/Hour
Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift, Monday – Friday
Remote Work: Partially Remote

Requirements
1. Bachelor’s (4 year) Degree in related field with three (3) to five (5) years management experience including programming, administration, strategic planning, budgets, and supervision required. An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered. Master’s Degree preferred.
2. Excellent working knowledge of community organizations, services available to clients and referral sources.
3. Knowledge and experience working with low-income populations.
4. Experience writing and implementing grants, administering budgets, and understanding funding regulations, as well as and knowledge of contract responsibilities and funder mandates.
5. Effective written and verbal communication skills including presenting proposals.
6. Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies.
7. Ability to develop strong working relationships with and between funders, community partners and others.
8. Familiarity with crisis intervention, housing, and homeless programs.
9. Strong leadership and managerial skills to motivate lead and develop a team.
10. Excellent organizational, time management, process, analytical and problem-solving skills.
11. Strong computer skills including proficiency in standard software platforms (Microsoft Office Suite, email client, and virtual connectivity) and capability of learning various systems and database programs to support program needs.
12. Valid driver’s license with ability to travel to locations within agency service area.
13. Must complete Certified Community Action Professional (CCAP) within 4 years (
