Team Overview:

The Branch Efficiency & Communications Portfolio supports several applications that enable Edward Jones branch teams to assist with daily workflows to support our client needs. We are looking for an experienced Digital Product Owner to lead the execution of the product vision, and further enable productivity for our branch teams. We are seeking strategic thinkers and thought leaders who are highly motivated to drive business objectives and make data driven decisions.

What You Will Do:

  • The Product Owner serves as the individual accountable for one or more systems and acts as primary contact on a shared technology agile product team.
  • Responsible to the Branch Efficiency & Communications Sr. Product Owner, this individual aligns strategy to execution through the development and maintenance of their product roadmap, outlining the body of work expected now, next, and into the future.
  • Serve as the primary contact for issues and escalations related to their supported systems, providing as timely resolution as possible; and aligns with adjacent product teams to ensure a consistent and cohesive progression of the product strategy.
  • Lead your matrixed product team through influence as well as task assignment authority, mentoring, and coaching all team members to fulfill the product vision by prioritizing work, grooming the backlog, and planning sprints.

What Experience You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, management information systems, or related field
  • 5+ years of product management experience
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Ability to work with stakeholders throughout the organization to balance priorities and maximize value delivery through continuous prioritization
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills to interact with business stakeholders

What Could Set You Apart:

  • Knowledge of financial services concepts, practices, and procedures, with emphasis in enterprise technology and collaboration and communication products
  • Experience mentoring project leaders at all levels
  • Experience or direct exposure with REST API, and Microservices
  • CSPO and/or POPM certification(s)
  • Strong understanding of tools including Jira, and Mural
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • MBA or Master's Degree
