Business Development Manager

Job Description:

The Business Development Manager is charged with directing the implementation of marketing objectives, manage company events, and use available technologies to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.

This position works with advisors and staff across multiple locations to oversee the proper implementation of marketing objectives and company workflows to drive practice efficiencies. The ideal candidate will be extremely organized, an effective communicator, and comfortable analyzing data to find actionable insights.

Responsibilities and time allocation will change over time to meet the needs of the practice and can include other duties as assigned by leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage in-house email marketing software to periodically add new contacts to email campaigns, enroll contacts in timely marketing campaigns and analyze campaign reporting to identify next steps.
  • Manage the implementation and oversight of marketing calendar across multiple locations.
  • Identify and implement company workflows to increase practice efficiencies.
  • Verify accurate and up-to-date data entry in CRM system – including prospect and opportunity pipelines.
  • Use CRM system to identify efficiencies and glean actionable insights. This includes weekly reporting to measure practice performance.
  • Direct individual meetings with advisors to review pipeline updates, email marketing outcomes, marketing events, and more.
  • Maintain company and individual advisor websites with periodic updates featuring curated and custom content.
  • Establish and grow integral business relationships within the industry.
  • Occasionally attend conferences, off-site meetings, and industry events as needed.
  • Stay on the forefront of new software capabilities, industry news, disseminating ideas and information across the company to ensure full awareness of resources and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, business development, or related field.
  • Experience with Salesforce.
  • Experience with Canva.
  • Proficiency in data reporting and analysis.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills to meet project deadlines.
  • Exceptional at multi-tasking and prioritizing.

Reporting to:

CEO William Watson, COO, Managing Director

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
