With Talon Protection Group, our Officers are the first point of contact for clients and properties we protect. We expect our officers to conduct themselves professionally with every person they contact and represent the highest company standards of honesty, integrity, and commitment. To be successful as an Unarmed Security Officer, you must be able to exercise good judgment and decision-making skills while under pressure and constantly be evaluating the lawful application of your use of force tools (i.e. OC Spray). Ultimately, an outstanding Unarmed Security Officer will seek to expand their legal knowledge and self-defense training beyond the state-mandated minimum level. Ability to speak foreign language(s) is a bonus.

Primary Job Duties:

• Protect our clients/properties
• Inspect client sites & properties
• Answer calls dispatched via phone and/or radio
• Routinely contact/interact with members of the public
• Contact Law Enforcement/First Responders when necessary
• Writing Incident reports

Unarmed Site Officer Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Able to read, write, and speak English as required by DPSST
• Clear criminal record as required by DPSST & WACJTC
• Strong commitment to the well-being of others
• Ability to work calmly and efficiently, particularly when under duress
• Neat, professional appearance
• Capacity to work on your feet for extended periods
• Stand, walk, run, bend, and lift 50 lbs + while wearing a vest, duty belt, baton, pepper spray, etc.

Unarmed Security Officers’ pay starts at $20/hr with the opportunity to advance to $26/hr before promotion to supervisory positions or special projects. These figures are dependent on certifications, time served within the company and are performance based.
