Staff Accountant

Pay Range: 60-75k

Office Location: Elkton, VA

Job description:

Staff Accountant for two companies which have common ownership – Carstensz Capital Partners, LLC (Real Estate Lending) and MMR Holdings, Inc. (Healthcare). Highly motivated team member will perform a wide range of accounting, bookkeeping and financial duties for both companies. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: day to day accounting activities, including AP and AR, assisting with month close, payroll processing, assist with the year-end financials and yearly audit. Individual should be proficient with Quickbooks desktop and excel. Given the current size and rapid growth of the company, the right individual must be a team player, willing to jump in and pitch in all areas, wherever required with efficiency and attention to detail.

Experience: 2-5 years of accounting experience.

Education: Accounting degree is a plus but not necessary if individual has required experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
