Position title: Customer Service Representative – Shipping & Receiving

Overview of responsibilities:

This position is primarily responsible for the daily activities of the shipping and receiving office and it interacts with all staff members and will be required to float between the different activities in the shipping office as customer activity and the needs of the company dictate. Individuals serving in this position must have the following skills and abilities.

Job Type: Full-time M-F (Some Saturdays)

Shift: 2nd (1:30pm-10pm)

Wage: $19.20 (includes $2 per hour shift premium)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Customer Service for facility customers & problem resolution
• Schedule inbound and outbound delivery appointments
• Manage the paperwork flow between the shipping & receiving office and warehouse
• Check-in drivers and direct them to a door for unloading/loading
• Removing and placing seals on trailer doors
• Check all trailers that arrive for condition and cleanliness
• Mediate to resolve driver problems with loads
• Accurately process paperwork in the computer system – order and receipt entry
• Communicate effectively
• Office Sanitation and Organization
• Filing
• Perform such duties and assume such other responsibilities as may be required to accomplish the essential job functions as directed by management

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong computer skills
• SAP experience not required
• Strong Phone skills and etiquette
• Good problem solving and decision making skills
• Positive attitude
• Basic math and reading skills
• Be able to follow instructions closely
• Be able to function effectively in a team and fast pace environment
• Ability to work with different levels of Management
• Ability to read/write in English
