Summary:

· Responsible for supervising a crew for processing sheep. Ability to working in a safe, calm, and clean environment. Will be working under the Livestock Manger. On the job training will be provided.

Duties and responsibilities:

· work in a safe, clean, calm environment

· responsible to communicate current pen counts

· supervise a crew of 2-3

· gathering sheep

· think outside the box

· open-minded

· adjust and overcome design challenges

· use data management programs

· Follow SOP’s

· list of day to day tasks include, but not limited to:

o Process incoming ewes

o Wean ewes and lambs

o Breeding

o Give vaccinations

o Load sheep for transportation

Qualifications:

· Reliable form of transportation

· Livestock experience (recommended, not required)

· Speaks Spanish (recommended, not required)
