Prominent NYC Commercial real estate firm seeks Senior Property Accountant with related experience for hybrid role to take ownership of small Class A Manhattan portfolio.


  • Financial statement preparation and analysis on a GAAP basis
  • Workpapers, posting to and reconciling GL, monthly/quarterly and annual close
  • Prepare monthly operating reports including variance explanations
  • Assist in preparation of annual budget and re-forecasts
  • Participate in monthly meetings to review and analyze financial results
  • Review payables and approve invoices
  • Special projects

  • Bachelor's degree, accounting major highly preferred

  • 4+ years of Commercial Property Accounting with Class A Manhattan buildings

  • Solid computer skills, Yardi a "plus"; strong Excel
