Senior Marketing Associate - Marketing Department

Summary

The Senior Marketing Associate will report to the Vice President of Marketing and will be responsible for coordinating and reporting on Grand Appliance’s streaming and online advertising deployments on platforms such as Hulu, Google, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and email. They will also be responsible for collaborating with department members to plan, schedule, execute and report on social and blog posts.

• The job will be remote but require onsite work for events and meetings throughout the year. Onsite work location may vary and require travel based on the event or meeting location.
• The initial part of the training will be on-site and may require travel based on your location.

Essential Functions:

• Meetings with Vice President, leadership, and other department members to develop schedules, budgets, and deliverables for each platform
• Coordinating with marketing peers to ensure on-time deployment, consistent themes, and consistent messaging across all platforms.
• Analyzing performance in Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Facebook Ads
• Updating the deployment schedule and budget in Grand’s project management platform as needed to reflect changes
• Scheduling and following up on creative needs with Grand’s internal teams and external vendors
• Working with vendors and Grand’s data team to compile reporting that will help the Vice President and leadership assess marketing performance
• Reviewing and approving billing based on Vice President’s budget and general direction
• Planning and scheduling social posts

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of hands-on marketing department, agency, or related experience

• A Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field, though commensurate experience is acceptable in place of a college degree
• Organization, prioritization, and multitasking skills to coordinate a high volume of projects simultaneously within a project management suite.
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills to manage relationships and properly represent the department and the company with internal departments – particularly Accounting and Sales – as well as external vendor teams
• Creativity and progressive thinking to solve problems, identify opportunities and maximize results
• Proficiency with Microsoft’s suite of products, particularly including communications in Teams, pivot tables and spreadsheets in Excel, and presentations in PowerPoint
• Internal drive to grow, succeed and make a meaningful contribution to a growing and dynamic family-owned organization.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in multiple platforms preferred
• Extensive experience in one or more platforms like Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and Facebook Ads is a plus
• Experience with Netsuite business management system a plus
• Experience with SQL a plus
