High level experience in data, security, and voice engineering is mandatory.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-moving dynamic team-oriented environment, with collaboration, and communication skills a must
• Provide a balanced, high level of knowledge and support of telco, data network, security, voice, and Server/Systems administration
• Provide guidance to the engineering staff which aligns design and implementation to IT governance
• Enforce IT governance and technology strategy, defined by leadership, within engineering
• Follow and audit network and security governance policies, procedures and standards
• Documentation, project management, Microsoft application skills
• Serve as liaison with leadership, legal, compliance and corporate risk management to analyze new requirements, standards and capabilities and to determine feasibility and timing of implementation of new programs and capabilities
• Supports and maintains positive attitude and vision with peers, associates, and leadership
• Align and work with other verticals to ensure successful association
• Partner with Operations teams to drive adoption and implementation of information security policies, procedures, standards and incident handling processes
• Provide clear direction to achieve goals, creating an environment that fosters team commitment and employee engagement
• Ability to prioritize numerous requests and execute tasks in a high-pressure, fast moving environment
• Demonstrates creativity in solving problems or generating improvement ideas
• Demonstrate exceptional written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate in various levels (technical, non-technical - written and oral)
• Demonstrates initiative, dependability and accountability, Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of prioritizing and correlation of network issues
• After hours, on-call support for critical outages and maintenance
• High level knowledge of physical connectivity and related technologies
• Diverse vendor hardware, software solution knowledge required
• In-depth knowledge of tools: SolarWinds, SalesForce, NetFlow, TACACS, RADIUS, Syslog (additional tools a plus)
• Software programing, API, and SDK is a plus

Applicant should have a good working knowledge of the following:

• Cisco switching/routing – Cisco IOS CLI
• Detailed understanding of TCP/IP, IPv6, NAT, BGP, MPLS, EIGRP, IPSEC, VRF, VPN, L2/L3 QOS, VLAN, 802.1Q, EEM, SNMP, logging, STP, TDM, POE and Optical transport
• SD-Wan Technology – Specifically VeloCloud
• Security/Firewall – Specifically Fortinet
• Linux CLI

Qualifications

Relevant bachelor’s degree preferred

Relevant professional or Expert certifications preferred

Advanced and real-world knowledge of responsibilities and duties mandatory

Minimum 10 years of professional experience in technology field

Must be experienced with 24x7 operations

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
