Sky Factory is seeking an experienced Graphic Artist to join our team of artists. Each of our team members participates in a range of activities that include:

a) Marketing materials design for web and print

b) Oversight of printing and production

c) Overhead and landscape nature photography and videography

We are seeking to add an individual with experience in generating web-and print based marketing materials, a born creative with a zeal for diligent execution. Can you take on time-tested, as well as fresh ideas, from concept to completion, on schedule? Are you a visual storyteller across diverse media—printed banners and brochures, online web content, video and social media campaigns? Are you fascinated by the subtleties of communication?

Help us design and promote a suite of award-winning virtual skylights and illusory windows to professional audiences: architects, designers, healthcare staff, and facility managers.

Overall, we’re looking for a creative, collaborative, eager learner.

Core Competencies:

* A deep understanding and appreciation of nature and its visual attributes

* 2- or 4-year degree in related field and/or equivalent work experience

* High level of proficiency in Abode Creative Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator

* Strong understanding of digital photography—experience in field photography (e.g. nature, product photography, interior design and architectural)

* Comfortable in Windows PC and Macintosh environments

* Thrives in a team-environment—can give and receive criticism effectively

Skills:

* Blog and B2B marketing photography

* Photo retouching

* Creating product renders, graphics and illustrations

* Pre-production graphics

* Proficiency in other Creative Cloud/other creative digital applications

* Complementary skill sets (Graphic Design, Videography, Illustration, 3D design)

* Architecture or interior design background

* Team management experience

* Familiarity with large-format printing

Sky Factory artists wear many hats, and are expected to use and develop skills beyond those listed here. This team position requires some experience with both photography calibration as well as nuanced color correction for high quality print jobs.

In keeping with the fine arts quality of our reproductions, we maintain high color correction and calibration standards.

Additional responsibilities may include limited travel throughout the year: photo shoots, trade shows and conferences, and product presentations.
