A local, family-owned company is seeking a full-time Senior Accountant with experience in financial accounting. The ideal candidate must be professional, a team player, extremely detail oriented, trustworthy, and flexible. Candidates with Construction Accounting/AIA Billing & Invoicing experience are strongly encouraged to check out this opportunity.

Requirements of the Position include, but are not limited to:

· Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Accounting

· Five or more years of corporate accounting experience

· Supervise one (1) other accounting team member and collaborate with other departments

· Manage AP, verifying payment documentation and preparing disbursements

· Calculate Commissions

· Conduct month-end and year-end close processes to verify all entries have been created and posted

· Review and reconcile the general ledger

· Publish all necessary reports and detailed support both monthly and on demand, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash-flow statements

· Thorough knowledge of GAAP and procedures

Skills

· Working knowledge of ERP accounting software platforms

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Products

· Strong command of details and deadlines

Requirements include:

• High proficiency in Excel Spreadsheets. Proficient with databases, MS Office and financial software applications.
