Summary:

The Security Shift Manager is responsible for the overall safety and protection of all guests, employees, and company assets on their shift. Supervises Security staff on assigned shift and assists by overseeing floor activity, scheduling, reviews, disciplinary action, and may coordinate and/or perform training. Directs staff and assists in the handling of incidents and emergencies. Summons police/fire agencies as needed. Oversees required drops.

Essential:

• Investigate all reported criminal activity. Communicate with appropriate law enforcement.
• Responsible for inputting information into the IGA Administrator system. Responsible for the Key Administrator system.
• Respond to medically related incidents and ensure all emergency procedures are properly followed.
• Responsible for the successful and safe movement of casino funds.
• Provide exceptional guest service for all external and internal customers.
• Assist with the operation of the Security department, successful performance of employees, and a favorable guest experience.
• Assists with managing, delegating duties, and the performance and development of department staff; inclusive of interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating, coaching, and termination of staff.
• Perform all functions of personnel within span of control, as needed.
• Assure an environment which emphasizes cooperation, communication, and teamwork with all departments.
• Support compliance with all internal procedures and regulatory requirements, including those associated with underage and intoxicated guests.
• Support current law and policy to provide a work environment free from illegal and discriminatory behavior.
• Promote and ensure the safety and security of all guests and employees.
• Complete job duties with minimal supervision, maintain acceptable attendance, and use appropriate judgment and decision-making skills.
• Job duties, tasks, work hours, work requirements, and other duties as assigned may be added or changed at any time.

Required:

A sound understanding of and skill in several activities which involve a variety of practices and precedents or a basic understanding of the theory and principles of the discipline. Typically requires an Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of educations and experience.

Schedule:

Full-time that varies based on events and holidays and includes days, nights and weekends.

Salary:

Highly competitive salary based on experience with 80 hours of Paid Time off upon hire.

Pay: $42,939.00 - $47,935.00 per year
