Come join the Jake’s family at our new store. As we settle into our second location, our family-owned business is looking for help to create a vibrant community grocery store. Our mission is to serve our neighbors with quality products and great customer service.

If you care about sandwich construction, enjoy working with local ingredients, and are interested in learning new techniques, this could be the place for you. Our deli and kitchen team is responsible for meat, seafood, bakery, and prepared foods. This is a great opportunities to hone your craft and/or expand your skillset in the kitchen. All team members will be engaging with customers, so multi-tasking is a priority.

JOB EXPECTATIONS

• Good physical stamina in terms of bending, lifting, and standing for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Punctual for their shifts.
• Sandwich making and comfortable using a meat slicer.
• Counter Service and display skills
• Prep-work
• Cleaning
• Opening and/or closing duties.
• Customer Service
• Passion for quality food.
• Willingness to learn.
• Fun crew member.

EDUCATION: None qualifying. Must be 18+ to apply. Some kitchen and/or customer service experience is preferred; a great attitude is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour
