The position is an immediate hire and will be filled by an experienced individual who can manage the pricing, design and construction of structural and non-structural retaining walls including keystone block, rock gravity, MSE and concrete construction. Daily duties will consist of turnkey bid generation, design and overseeing the construction budgets of multiple active projects including changes of scope. Candidate will possess an engineering-based background with experience in CAD design and analytical thinking.

Project Management Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• On Screen Takeoff Experience
• An ability to process information as a means of risk management based on the scope of the overall project
• Microsoft Project experience or other computer-based scheduling software is desired
• Ability to provide conceptual estimates and budget information at times
• Work with superintendents to schedule work based on crew availability
• Acquire permits from municipalities as needed as well as providing the needed information to close projects
• Provide concurrence letter at completion of construction
• Must be able to read and understand project plans and specifications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Well organized and capable of running multiple jobs at a time.

Education / Licenses:

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering and two (2) years practical engineering experience
• Licensed as a PE in the State of Texas (or obtain license within 6 months of employment)
