Ja-Mar Roofing & Sheet Metal has been in business since 1970 and specializes in residential and commercial roofing and storm restoration. We are seeking a self-motivated individuals to add to our team of Roofing Professionals in the Central Texas area.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on leads promptly and document status changes in Company software
• Inspect roofs, document findings and identify roofing solutions
• Create estimates for work to be preformed
• Meet with customer, educate, present and close new business
• Maintain customer service throughout production through collection
• Achieve or exceed company targeted gross profit margins
• Develop new clients through networking, cold calling, canvassing or other lead generation efforts

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience as a roofing sales representative
• Broad knowledge of roofing systems, accessories and installation procedures
• Must be comfortable being face to face with customers (or ZOOM in today's Climate)
• Must be physically able to climb a ladder and get of a roofs for inspection
• Self-disciplined / Self-starter / Strategic thinker / Positive attitude
• Strong cold calling, networking and appointment-setting skills
• Ability to manage your time effectively - ABC (Always Be Closing)

Option #1: (W-2) Conservative base salary with generous commission plan, truck allowance, laptop or iPad, cell phone. 50% of Individual Health Insurance. Paid vacation and generous holiday schedule. Continued education and training. Must have proven track record of acceptable sales volume to qualify (DOE)

Option #2: (Independent Contractor) 13% Office Cost and 50% split of profits. Office cost reduced to 10% for self-generated leads. Contractor to supply own Truck, equipment etc. (DOE)
