We are excited to invite applications to join our Digital Commerce applications group as Product Manager supporting our Colgate Direct-to-Consumer business! In today's dynamic technology environment, it is an exciting time to be a part of the information technology team at Colgate. Our highly technical and innovative team is dedicated to driving growth for Colgate Palmolive in this ever-changing landscape while supporting our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) and Profession-to-Consumer (B2B2C) businesses.


We are looking for a quick learner who loves technology that can partner with both our business and development teams as they envisage and scale new business models in the B2C and B2B2C space to deliver flawless and delightful user experiences. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated and can work well both independently and within a team. They are a self-starter that is eager to drive eCommerce site development while considering security, performance and user interface implications in the design of our constantly evolving portfolio.


Specific Responsibilities:


  • Define and prioritize a well-defined roadmap for digital commerce direct-to-consumer & professional-to-consumer sites with internal stakeholders
  • Continuously improve product / site management with agile development processes
  • Support end-to-end efforts to develop and adhere to project plans/schedules/deliverables; ensure project timelines are appropriately handled throughout the project lifecycle
  • Benchmark our offerings against the competition
  • Support the design of new features with our UX/UI and development teams
  • Coordinate user tests, propose recommendations for improvement and seek validation with our partners while identifying bugs and opportunities for improvement
  • Test the quality of sites and write test plans for external testers
  • Ensure site experience and design is consistent with the Colgate brands and legal requirements


Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's or higher degree
  • 2+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner
  • Experience with leading consumer-facing Digital Commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce, etc.
  • A functional understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, etc.
  • Clear, concise and user-friendly interpersonal skills to easily transmit your ideas to any audience
  • Strong organization skills and self-motivation
  • Ability to work on numerous assignments at one time with proven follow-through, attention to detail and dedication to business partnership
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity - in business requirements, technology options and product / site direction


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business adminstration, Engineering or Similar
  • Experience in Google Analytics (or similar)
  • Knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence, and/or Trello)
  • Experience with Digital Commerce specific metrics (conversion rate, CPA, CAC, etc.)
  • Experience working on Agile or Scrum development teams


Salary Range $88,800 - $147,000

Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
