Manpower Engineering is seeking a Product Engineer for our client in the Kokomo, Indiana area. Direct hire/perm opportunity. Very stable company offering career advancement. Nice benefit package.

• Work with customer (usually an Engineer) to clarify designs and successful assembly of product or prototype.
• Enters Bills-of-Material (BOM) and checks against customer documentation.
• Research alternate electronic components and specifications.
• Maintain and update all engineering documentation.
• Develop new applications for electronic assemblies and systems.
• Support assembly and recommends alternate materials and designs.
• May help troubleshoot designs, assemblies and components.
  
  Who we're looking for?
• Prefer Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology/Electrical Engineering with three to five years related experience. ASEET degree considered too.
• Good understanding of electronic components (ability to identify components and understand their function).
• Ability to read and understand technical diagrams/schematics.
• Good communication skills required-listening, written, and oral.
• Time management

• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Must be creative and have ability to "think outside the box".
