Hunter Ambrose has been retained to recruit a full-time Physical Therapist. Our client is an award-winning Critical Access Hospital with two rehab clinics. The organization has a new and dynamic Director of Rehab. The department is growing with the addition of new Physical Therapists.

About the community:

• Yreka, California, has a population of 8,000- 38 miles from Ashland, Oregon
• Located just south and less than an hour's drive from Ashland, Oregon, and Medford, Oregon. Many hospital employees live in Oregon and commute to Yreka
• Great community for people who enjoy a small town setting and outdoor activities

Responsibilities include:

• Evaluates and treat patients referred by physicians for rehabilitation services
• Reports to: Rehab Director
• EPIC - EMR
• The average number of patients per day: 6-8 patients per day
• Typical patient: orthopedics, geriatrics, older pediatric, athletic injuries
• Inpatients consist of observation, acute or skilled care/swing bed
• Hours of the position Monday - Friday

Candidate qualifications:

• Current California Physical Therapist License OR ability to obtain
• New grad's are welcome to apply

Compensation:

• The hourly range is $47.95 - $59.25 based on years of experience
• Sign on and retention bonus negoitable
• Loan forgiveness per year, up to three years- Total of $30,000 potential
• Relocation assistance - typically up to 10k
• 3 months temporary housing, (the hospital has dedicated housing in the area) and or a housing stipend to help candidates relocate affordably to the area
