• Provides or assists individuals with preparation of meals and cleanliness of their natural home.
• Promotes and encourages individuals to obtain a positive self-image.
• Assists and uses teaching strategies to help an individual learn skills necessary to live as
• independently as possible.
• Provides an environment of safety and security for all persons.
• Oversees the proper administration of medication, as needed.
• Provides transportation, as needed.

Personal Plans:

• Knows, respects, and supports each person's Individual Support Plan.
• Assists in certain processes of personal plan development, including implementation, teaching plans, and
• thorough documentation.

Health and Safety:

• Assumes the role of a mandated reporter and values individuals safety within their natural home.
• Maintains healthy boundaries with individuals for the safety and care of the person supported.
• Maintains a healthy environment for the person supported while in coverage.
