We are looking for an outgoing, friendly, and reliable individual to fill a Patient Registration position in our Radiology Department. This is a full-time benefits-eligible position, Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced work environment with orthopedic, neurosurgery (adult and some pediatric) and ENT patients.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver the highest quality nursing care in a non-judgmental and non-discriminating manner, sensitive to patient needs
• Contribute to the team-oriented environment by demonstrating cooperative, constructive, problem-solving interaction with coworkers
• Perform scheduling/authorization duties with consistency and accuracy
• Assemble all patient charts
• Register all chart information into the EMR
• Perform patient address changes
• Perform miscellaneous office duties as necessary

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a receptionist in a medical setting preferred
• Ability to type 45 WPM
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs frequently, push/pull up to 25 lbs frequently; frequent standing, bending, stooping, and repetitive motion to hands/wrists
