As an Owner/Operator of a Dry Van, Reefer, or Flatbed, your job duties and responsibilities include:

• Operating and maintaining your own truck and trailer to transport goods from one location to another safely and efficiently.
• Finding and contracting with customers to haul their loads and negotiate rates for services rendered.
• Ensuring that all loads are properly secured and transported in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Performing routine maintenance and repairs on your truck and trailer to ensure they are safe and in good working condition.
• Maintaining accurate and complete records of all shipments, including billing and invoicing information.
• Adhering to all safety regulations, including maintaining proper documentation and logs, conducting pre-trip inspections, and following all traffic laws.
• Communicating effectively with customers, brokers, and dispatchers to coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules and resolve any issues that may arise during transportation.
• Maintaining a positive and professional image, both on and off the road, by providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and well-maintained vehicle.
• Staying up-to-date with changes in regulations, industry trends, and best practices to ensure you are operating in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
