City Ventures Health is seeking experienced, energetic, and compassionate Nurse Practitioners to serve patients at our Urgent Care facilities. The incumbent should be empathic in dealing with patients but knowledgeable and resolute in decision-making while still maintaining an exceptional level of guest service.

Job Duties:

• Ordering, administering, and analyzing diagnostic tests.
• Consulting with healthcare professionals and families.
• Training patients and their families to manage and prevent illness and injury.
• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illness, independently or as part of a healthcare team
• Focus on health promotion and disease prevention
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Must hold current and valid Nebraska state licensure (APRN, PA)
• Must hold current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Must have at least one year of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a primary care setting, urgent care or emergency department
• Computer literacy and EMR proficiency
• Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
• Alert, thorough, reliable, and calm under stress.
• Passionate and committed to providing high-quality, sympathetic care, and service to patients.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain precise organization in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills - verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
