The Network Technician position is responsible for installing and maintaining the core data network for Mark Twain Rural Telephone and Mark Twain Communications. The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to, installing, and configuring core networking equipment such as routers and switches, installing and maintaining DC Power Systems in central offices and cabinets, installing, and maintaining last mile solutions such as GPON FTTP and Commercial Wireless equipment. The position is responsible for configuration, remote monitoring, and troubleshooting connectivity issues with field technicians. This position reports to the Mark Twain business office and is required to travel throughout Northeast Missouri as needed.

Technical experience with routing, switching, dc power, and communications networks is required. Certifications from Cisco, Juniper, CompTIA, SolarWinds, Aruba, and others are recommended but not required. Applicants with adequate experience in a related field should also apply.

Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour
